Practice
What we
stand for.
egoxai is a concept for an open-intelligence practice. We believe in truth, free expression, and AI that serves everyone — not just the people who build it. These are the principles that govern how we work.
Super Intelligence
AI that reasons from evidence and surfaces truth — not the answer that is easiest to give or safest to publish. We are interested in the hard, honest answer.
Rigorous Evaluation
Benchmarks are a starting point. We build task-specific eval suites, red-team our own systems, and treat every regression — including ideological drift — as a first-class incident.
Considered Deployment
We think carefully about who uses a system, in what context, and what happens when it fails. Deployment decisions are ethical decisions — and ethics includes respecting the user's autonomy.
Six principles
The rules we work by.
Truth is the product.
We do not optimize for engagement, comfort, or consensus. We build systems that surface accurate answers — even when those answers are inconvenient. Truth is not a feature. It is the foundation.
Free expression is structural.
We treat free speech as a load-bearing value, not a liability to manage. AI that suppresses viewpoints — however well-intentioned — is not safe. It is captured. We design against capture.
Evaluation is not optional.
Every system we build has a measurement layer before it has a user layer. If you cannot measure it, you cannot improve it. If you cannot improve it, you should not ship it.
Sensible by design.
We apply the same discipline to AI architecture that good governance applies to spending — no waste, no bloat, no complexity for its own sake. Lean systems are more auditable, more trustworthy, and easier to fix.
Safety is structural.
We do not bolt safety on at the end. Constraints, refusals, and failure modes are designed in from the first architecture decision. Real safety means the system works correctly — not that it refuses to engage.
We care about people.
Technology built without regard for the humans it affects is not neutral — it is negligent. We build with the full range of people in mind: their safety, their dignity, their right to think and speak freely.
"We love people. We believe in taking care of people. And we believe the best way to do that is to build AI that tells them the truth."
Safe cities, secure borders, sensible spending, fair justice, free speech — these are not political positions. They are the conditions under which people can live well. We are centrists who believe in discovery, honest conversation, and not being afraid to say what needs to be said. That ethos runs through everything we build.
